How do I fix the vertical lines on the screen during gameplay?

All my games have the same issue, so there is something wrong with my NES. I have cleaned and bent back the pins of the 72 pin connector and cleaned all the games. When the games come on, there are vertical lines about a half inch apart across the entire screen. I am connecting my NES to a CRT television using the yellow and red RCA cables. Has anyone else experienced this? Can anything be done to fix it?

Sounds like either your port, cables, tv or the nes is bad. Try a different tv and if it still occurs, new cables, if it still occurs, try wiggling the cable in the port, if that doesnt work, the nes probably has issues that may be hard to fix. Test the cables or tv first as those can be common problems

I did all that. It appears to be the "NES probably has issues that may be hard to fix." Not sure where to go from here.

@stuuuuu this question is 6 years old and just not visited too often. Your request may never get seen. So, go ahead and tell us all about your NES. Like, what exactly does this "I did all that" mean. Give us all the details and the known history of the NES
