I plugged into a faulty adapter

I plugged my ipod into an adapter that shorted out. Now it does nothing. No lights...no nothing. What is most likely wrong internally?

Ken Love, It is very possible the logic board could have burnt/damaged components after being shorted. Below find a guide to show Shuffle logic board removal, which then you can inspect for damage/burnt components under a magnifier and possibly change board if needed. If not wanting to attempt repair take shuffle in to a good local cell/computer repair shop and have them take a look and estimate repair. Good luck. I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.
