Bios only works with wired keyboards

I absolutely love my iMac, but I have a odd problem: When I try to go to the boot menu or recovery, only a wired keyboard works. My wireless one does not work in the bios but works in the OS fine. Is there a solution for this?

I do believe that it is due to there not being any bluetooth drivers working at that time, therefore the keyboard isnt connected to the computer. As for solutions, im not sure. But do you really need to go into the bios that often?

It's not a Bluetooth keyboard, it's a wireless one with the little USB plug thing. I do often go into the bios, right now I am trying to dual boot Windows and Mac OS.

Technically its still bluetooth. But espically since its not apple branded is what it might be. If it was apple, it probably would work fine. One of the only options i can think of is to get the smallest wired keyboard you can find and have it sit there in a hidden location to use to do this. Or to get an apple branded keyboard, OR to get a wired keyboard. Other than that, i dont think there is another option, sorry.
