iPod Touch 4th Generation Screen LCD

Hi,

In my house, not a hair dryer nor a heat gun exist and I don't really feel like going out to buy one. Is there something I could use to loosen the adhesive that is NOT a hair dryer or a heat gun? Could I use an oven if so what temperature?

Thanks,

Dawgie

@ipod5_and_ipod4 ,Dawgie , Do you have a heat pack/hot water bottle or something similar you can heat up in the microwave or very carefully in oven and then lay this over screen to loosen adhesive(check often as you do not wanting to get too hot). You can even heat up uncooked rice/grain in a pan and pour it in a sock and then tie the open end for home made heat pack. heat pack ideas links below. Good luck.
