LCD backlight not working

Hey,

So i kind of messed up while trying to replace the front panel and the backlight doesnt work now, i have jumped the fuse however the backlight is still not working

You will need to double check the continuity of the filter (it's not a fuse) just to make certain. If that is okay, then check the diode D8228 and the coil L8225. The coil rarely fails but the diode can fail.

Finally, if the components look okay, check to see if you have 20.4V at the filter when the screen is supposed to be on (connect a Lightning cable to the port). That will tell you if the circuit is functioning properly.
