upgrading logic board with the best processor it can have.

I have had this macbook for a while and its very hard for me to give it up. I have had opportunities to buy a new mac, but have been holding off because I don't really need a new one. But recently I have gotten into filming with my go pro and when it comes to playing my videos on my laptop with the resolution i am filming at, I just cannot view them because they are all glitchy. Now my question is whats the best logic board that i can put on my mid 2009 macbook pro thats out there?

Unlike desktop systems which you can fit just about anything, laptops are very limited to what the manufacture designs for the given model series. So in your case you are very limited.

This series had two models:

So as you can see not much choice here ;-{

In truth you need a newer CPU than the Core 2 Duo, I would recommend a i7 based system and one that can support 16 GB of RAM if you plan to do any lengthly videos. I would focus on a used system, maybe something like this: MacBook Pro 13" 2.9 GHz i7 (Mid-2012)
