LCD connection cable rotten

While repairing the microphone part of my IPhone 3 GS the connector part of the LCD display cable separated from the cable. Is ther any chance to repair or change this cable without soldering, or do I have to change tha LCD display unit with cable spending much money?

You can try but i think your time and energy would be better spent buying the replacement part. Either from here or somewhere like ebay
