@minielly ,Rob, Are you getting 230 volts to back off dryer. Dryer can run on one leg of power with no heat.

The thermal cut-off, high limit thermostat are the most likely causes of the no heat problem, located on the side of the heater housing behind the lower access panel. They can be checked for continuity if a meter is available. If test OK may be a faulty heating element. Use the links below for more info. on diagnosing and testing, last link is the service/repair manual. Good luck. I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.

Here are a few possible reasons why this may be happening:

  1. Faulty Heating Element: A broken heating element is one of the most common reasons why a dryer may stop producing heat. The heating element is a coil that heats up as the dryer runs, and if it is damaged, it won't be able to produce heat. You may need to replace the heating element to fix the issue.
  2. Bad Thermal Fuse: The thermal fuse is a safety device that is designed to prevent the dryer from overheating. If it is faulty, it may shut off the heating element and cause the dryer to stop producing heat. You may need to replace the thermal fuse to resolve the problem.
  3. Clogged Dryer Vent: A clogged dryer vent can also prevent the dryer from producing heat. When the vent is blocked, the hot, moist air that is produced during the drying cycle cannot escape, which can cause the dryer to overheat and shut off the heating element. You can try cleaning the dryer vent to fix the issue.
  4. Malfunctioning Thermostat: The thermostat is responsible for regulating the temperature inside the dryer. If it is malfunctioning, it may not be able to signal the heating element to turn on. You may need to replace the thermostat to fix the issue.

@sami786 your habitual linking to the same address is considered SPAM. You do NOT want to do that. You can add that link to your About page and refer to it, but you CANNOT use it on ANSWERS. Also, chatbot's do not provide good answers. Yes, the grammar is good but they are at best scratching the service of a question. Do not rely on it to provide good answers to specific questions.

The link has been deleted from your answers as a sign of good faith. Do not disappoint.

Anyhow, those are the rules to comply by. NO MORE LINKS to the place!
