Sim Card replacement for different countries

If I bought the unit in the UK, the sim only works with selected coutries. If I want to use the unit in another coutry like South Africa, the live traffic and cameras do not work because the sim is country specific. Is it possible to replace the sim card that I bought with the unit with another sim card? If so, how and where is the sim slot location on the unit?
