I have a 2012 EZ GO golf cart tries to crank and spits and sputters and backfires but won't crank completely. Replaced fuel pump and is getting fuel and has spark but what else could it be?

@keithwi, Keith, Maybe start by removing old fuel and filling with fresh good fuel. Sounds like it could be a timing issue, stuck valve, low compression. also could be dirty carb, spark plug wire shorting,ignition wire shorting, etc. Use the trouble shooting link below may be of some help.
