replaced iPhone 5s screen but now it won't display

Hey guys I'm stumped on this one !

I shattered my screen on my iPhone and it was no biggie because I replaced like 12 of these screens in the past with no issues. this phone is being a pain in my a**, I replaced it and went to turn it on but noting showed up, so I connected it to iTunes and it recognized it and then I grabbed one of my customers 5s and tried the screen on it and it was 100% fine . I put the screen back on my phone and still no luck so I'm a bit stumped, any thing is helpful at this point.

@dobos1,Jerod , Try cleaning and check the connector on the board for bent/damaged/missing pins and use a magnifying glass to look at the board for loose /damage/missing components/capacitor/etc. Good luck. I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.

Either the display is defective or you fried the backlight driver by connecting the display while the battery was not disconnected.

If the backlight driver became fried can I salvage this part from another iPhone 5s or is it not worth it?

You can salvage it, but you also need to reball the salvaged one
