Freezes and won't read game

So it worked this morning and its the afternoon now and when I turned on my 3ds and selected animal crossing game it foze.. It was like that for a while so I turned it on and off a couple times and it had the same results so I searched and one option was to turn off WiFi and it worked.. Until now I'm attempting to play again and I get same result. So I took game card out then tried turning back on and it wouldn't read game card. Note I have a clear plastic case on my 3ds and I had dropped it about 3ft on concrete yesterday after noon. Its been about 24 hours but it still worked after I dropped it

Answer this question I have this problem too

It sounds like the DS is crashing upon attempting to read the game card. If another game card works consistently then it may be isolated to the cartridge. If it keeps crashing with any cartridge then there may probably be internal damage.
