iPhone 6 no display/backlight but powers on

i went to put on the screen on a iphone 6 it all worked then the wifi greyed went on so i changed the attenna then put it back in and it still didnt fix it so i then put the cover on and all screws in the same spot n screen was still on then i went to close the phone it then shut off no back light or display on i have already tried another screen that works and still nothing and the screws have not damaged the board

Sounds like the backlight ic is shot its repairable by a microsolder shop and runs about $170

Thing is all I did was went to close it and it shut off when I went to and I tried another working screen didn't help

Was battery unplugged at all prior to doing the repair or replugging of any cables?

Sounds like a backlight filter has blown.

okay so i made sure the battery was not connected then i took off the screen and put it back on with all cables connected then i connected the battery and it turned on so i put all the screws in the right spot "still on" then i went to bring the phone down to close and it shut off no display so i tried a different screen off another working phone and still didnt display
