Is there any way to fix a broken button?

Is there any way to fix a button that has physically broken in half? It is the main toggle button between the menu and back button on the Kindle DX. If it cannot be fixed, is there a new model that would be recommended that is similar. I have very poor eyesight and this model has been very good for me because I can make the font very large and it is not backlit.

This is a very common problem according to the many DIY "fixes" posted on the internet. Amazon WILL NOT issue a recall or a repair for it.

Heather Neilson , The button should be replaceable. The first link below shows how to disassemble the device to access the button to change. The other 2 links may have a replacement button for you or you can also do a search using your make and model replacement buttons. If not wanting to tackle the repair pop into a good local cell/computer repair shop, have them take a look and estimate repair. Good luck. I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.
