Options

I like to test the following:

  • Touch response across the entire screen
  • Look for dead pixels and good backlight
  • Check all buttons
  • Test all cameras, flash
  • Test all microphones and different modes of recording
  • Check all sensors (proximity, ambient light)
  • Check all radios (WiFi, Bluetooth, LTE)

This only takes a few minutes and should be done before a repair and after. That way you know for certain what worked before.
