What should I do to make the phone go back to normal home screen?

After that my HTC M8 got alittle wet, when i turned it on, i got list of massafes like

Options

Volume button is stuck on. Volume down. Besure volume down and power combination boots to bootloader mode.

To test this the phone must be disassembled to the point of where you can unplug the volume cable and see if it turns on fine. Water damage is still in the phone and needs to be worked on.
