"Back" and "Options" buttons are not responding.

Hello, I had to completely replace the screen on my Galaxy S4 T-Mobile version, so I was following a video tutorial from iFixit.com. After completing the procedure, the screen itself shows everything and works perfectly, but the 2 touch buttons (to the left and to the right of the main physical button) are not responding. Can someone please suggest a solution for fixing this, and what could have gone wrong? Thanks ahead!

Turns out that the little "flex" cable, had a thin layer of plastic (right below its connector) that had to be removed. I also updated the touch buttons firmware, by opening the phone's Keypad and typing in "*#2663#", and then clicking "Touch Key FW update" option. After all this, my phone seems to operate properly again!

try to restart your device, or the button is probably malfunctioning.

That was the first thing I tried, but it didn't help.

Maybe you somehow damage their connections. Try to open it and see if you can find any problem.
