3DS Buzzing and power led blinking nonstop

This happened today: I was playing a game on my 3DS when all out of sudden my 3DS turns its screen off and a buzzing/static-ish sound comes out of the speakers while the blue power led blinks nonstop. I already tried to power it down but no results,even if i hold for 1 minute it won't turn off. I don't know what to do anymore. Is there any chance of my 3DS still being alive or is it dead forever?
