Backlight Ribbon Cable Installation

Hello everyone, I'm just wondering if there is any specific trick to putting the ribbon cable for the back light back in?

I snapped my last one being too tough with it, ordered a new back light which I have put onto the Macbook, now the problem is I don't want to snap the cable again but it seems to need to go a way that is not natural for the cable?

Is there a trick to it or can anyone show me a picture/video of how to do it?

Thanks,

Jamie

You just have to use bent tweezers, and carefully push it into the connector on the PCB (with the latch lifted), there is no trick to it. You just have to position the PCB at a good angle, and the cable will slide in easily. Make sure you fit the cable the right way, so you can see the white line on the cable line up with the connector as you push it in. Just don't force it, since you can rip the cable, or slip and scratch the backlight.
