WiFi Antenna broken - how to fix it?

Hi all,

after having trouble with WiFi (on, off, no network, ...) I startet error tracking.

Someone killed the antenna cable!

Did anyone fixed an anetnna cable yet?

Is the wifi antenna physically broken? If it is not, it will likely be an issue with the wifi card or the logic board.

Yes, it's broken. Cut in the middle.

Remove the top lid from the Mac using the guide here MacBook Air 11" Early 2014 Display Assembly Replacement

Heat and remove the silver bezel with a thin tool (painting knife), inserting it on the inside of the bezel, where the screen is. Be careful not to slice the rubber bezel, scratch or damage the screen.

Once removed, you can slide the hinge cover to remove it, then unplug the cable from the camera, and unscrew the wifi antenna + hinge.

You can fix the cable (I haven't personally had to do this), but I would suggest replacement since you have mentioned the camera issue in your other question, which is on the same cable as this.
