Unable to detect iPhone to sync

Got a new logic board installed, sourced on ebay from Canada. I installed it and got the normal "connect to itunes" sync screen but cannot get any pc to detect the phone and sync it. Was able to get the phone charged using a generic speaker dock but cannot get the software installed.

Tried a Windows 95 pc, Vista pc and also a mac.

Any ideas?

have you tried cleaning the dock, reconnecting no4 flex?
