Why is my washer leaki g

The other day i go to my laundry room and its flooded. I began checking hoses and none of them were leaking. The water was coming from underneath the washing machine. I tried the diagnostic test with filling it up half way with water then unplugging it to see if it was the timer switch or the invelt valve or whatever its called. Well the water stopped running and after a few seconds of it being unplugged it began draining from underneath the washer. So i dont know what the !&&* it is. Please help!!

Jandi Watts , Kenmore Elite HE3 washing machine leaks from under machine, for now we will assume you are correct that the hoses, valves, etc. above the drum/upper are not leaking. Possible lower leaks crack in drum, drain hose cracked/loose clamp, filter/clean out seal bad or housing cracked, pump seal bad or body cracked.

Remove the three screws securing the (underside) of toe panel to the front of the washer and remove the toe panel by lifting slightly and pulling forward. Know with machine unplugged ad some water and with a flash light do a close inspection to see where the water is leaking from and make repair. Find your repair manual 1st link below and a couple trouble shooting links. If not comfortable working on your machine have a good repair Tech. have a look, diagnose and estimate repair. Good luck.
