reasons why wifi and gps is weak?

Title says it all. I disassembled and reassembled my iphone and my wifi and gps signal shot straight down. I can barely receive wifi signals sitting right next to my wireless router. My gps signal is the same way as well. Any reasons?

I just accidentally found something weird. When I press my finger on the top right corner of the phone (screen facing me) and held it down tightly, my wifi actually started to become stronger. However after releasing, it went back to being weak. I tested this several times to make sure and it actually worked like that. I'm thinking it has something to do with the wifi frame touching the screen or motherboard. However, as Armald Imeraj said, any help is welcome!!

Well well my exact problem.

I dropped the phone, while i could hear others in normal mode I had some very loud noises during loud speaker call and people could not hear me in either times.

I sent it to a repair store!

It came up that the new introduced Mike in iPhone 4 was the problem.

They soldered it back and it was fine. Later on I find that my Wireless is reception very Poor (I have not tested GPS).

I think the repair store as probably you have left the G.P.S./WI-FI/Bluetooth antenna unscrewed or some connector to it.

I have been very wary to send it again as I doubt on the service(the did smth like this once).

I will send again but would need an opinion of what is missing first!!

Any body to help us is welcome!!

The answer is one of the screws that screw the logic board to the metal body of the iPhone. In our case it is the one near the camera or the one below below the inner antenna connector, this is most probable but who knows). The screw grounds the board with the antenna!!

Check every screw and every piece of metal(grounder) on the screws is on it's place!

everyone gives the same advice..clean the flex, check your screws and the little metal part that sits on the logicboard screwhole for the antenna signal. It is clearly marked in the repair guides on the right..chose "logic board", read through it and use it to check screw placement and metal part.(step 13)

Ended up finding the issue. The wifi signal is affected by the black/silver metal plate that covers the connectors of the screen. There’s a little silver metal piece at the top of that plate which contacts with the motherboard.
