buzzin noise when tv is turned on and no picture

I have a JVC HD 61Z575 projection television purchased in 2004. When we turn it on it makes a loud buzzing noise, power LED and lamp LED blink furiously and then the TV shuts down in 60 to 90 seconds. No picture. I suspect a cooling fan is broken or stuck making that noise. How do I diagnosis and fix.

Answer this question I have this problem too
