Battery won't charge, replaced the battery and charging connector

I really could use some help. I have two Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablets from customers that won't charge. Sometimes it gives a red cross through the battery and sometimes the icon is normal but the battery still does not charge.

On one of the tablets I already replaced the battery and the charging dock cable. But sadly it still does not charge. I also tried different USB cables and charging adapters both original and third party.

Both tablets have android version 4.2.2 on them. Is there possibly a problem with the software and how can I (re)calibrate the battery?

PLEASE HELP!!

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

I also replaced battery, charging port and charging cable . It doesn't even recognize that anything is plugged in. The new battery I put in at least let me boot up and all works great , but when this battery runs out of juice I'm doomed...

Just found this----way late for your purposes. May be that the Charging IC (Integrated Circuit) on the motherboard needs to be replaced.
