Why is my picture so dim?

Everything works fine except for it seems like the bulb isn't bright enough. Any advice would be extremely helpful! Thank you

I'm not an expert on TVs but I can suggest looking at your brightness and contrast settings of course, but also any power-saving settings. Often times, there can be an option to save power by using less of it resulting in a dimmer image. If none of that works, then a reset could fix it. Try a soft reset if there's an option and then a hard reset if there's a button somewhere. If not, just unplug the unit and let it sit for a bit, plug it back in and see if it works...

I had the same problem. My fix was.

I change out the light ballast. Tv playing just like when I first purchased it. (Fix)

***I was getting dim picture. Problem ballast was not strong enough to energize the lamp to work correctly. That’s why tv plays dim. (Fix)

Plus sometimes. When lamp goes bad it can damage connections to ballast. Always check to make sure ballast connections to lamp are not burn inside when lamp goes bad. Sometimes it happens.

Also check the wire from ballast to dmd board to make sure no wires came loose
