Vertical lines,unresponsive touch,contacts not displayed in text notif

I've read about this problem before but have additional concern. So phone was dropped, white vertical lines only on the left side of screen, touch screen unresponsive. However, in addition, I noticed that I'm still receiving text notifications from friends but their numbers are displayed instead of their contact names. Should I be worried that their is a more concerning issues than the digitizer being knocked loose? I wanted to save my pics to my computer before screwing around with my phone but I just (as in two days ago) put a lock pass code on my phone and can't get access since my touchscreen isn't working! :( The buttons on the phone are still working btw.

Screen needs to be replaced to fix the display issue with the vertical lines and digitizer touch screen not functioning.

Also for the friends contacts appearing as number only in contacts have you made sure they are added numbers in contacts?

Also I have recently heard someone else on here having the same issue. I wonder if it's due to a recent iOS update.

Try to refix the display and clean the display connectors with isopropyl alcohol, if it is not working you need to replace with new display. it work fine
