Touchscreen was unresponsive randomly at times, before it got wet...
...So recently i dropped my note 5 in some water but the ldi is white according to the one in the sim tray. I wanted to turn it in for warranty but I'm afraid I will get charged for water damage if there was even another LDI underneath the case (possibly under the motherboard so it wouldnt be tampered with) and I was wondering if I could just fix the whole touchscreen problem itself rather than paying $230+. Before I dropped it in water, the screen was unresponsive to touch and glitched many times. Some areas were unresponsive, such as the corners. After the water incident, touch was unresponsive to the whole screen, only the s-pen worked. Everything works perfectly fine, sound, screen, camera, battery, everything, but just touchscreen. The screen itself is dry and has no water blotches underneath.
Update (02/11/2017)
I've also rebooted my phone plenty times before the incident in case it was just a hardware problem. Done factory reset 50000x and I'm pretty sure the phone itself got frustrated that it locked itself in safe mode for a couple hours before I took control again. I'm quite dissapointed in myself for not getting an exchange before having that incident or else I wouldn't have to deal with this issue.
Is this a good question?
