Can you enter Windows? have you tried the virtual keyboard from Windows that is on screen. Perhaps that might help.

Hi, Is there an option in Control Panel > Mouse to enable the touchpad? (I haven't got a laptop to find out) or go to Control Panel > Device Manager > HID Touchpads and see if it is disabled. If it is right click on the touchpad entry. and try enable.

Every Asus latop got a Dvd within which you get softwares kind of useful .After you install ,or already installed touchpad software, you can see it in right side of taskbar, open it there and enable it.
