Expose dial not working?. Camera reset itself?.

I'm not sure what's going on with my camera, I searched everywhere trying to look for an answer or see if someone had my problem. I only took 2 pictures with my camera, then I had it ship because I moved. Now my exposed dial isn't lighting up and it seems like the camera reset itself back to "S" it's not even taking any pictures. Did I do something with out knowing?. Or what can I do to fix this?!.
