intercangeable charging port from 3g to 3gs

hi, I have a old iphone 3g and a 3gs. the battery,and the charging port in the 3gs need replacing. does anyone know if these parts are interchangeable?

the very quick answer is definately not. dock has 2 antenna prongs to connect to motherboard (on 3gs) and battery is different shapes. sorry.
