lenovo thinkpad E530 will not start up

Lenovo E530 will not go past start up screen and I need it fixed. It has windows 7 and I think it tried to update windows 10 during the night. It hasn't worked since. It will give options to go into safe mode , safe mode command startup or regular windows startup. Any that is chosen will boot up got start up screen and then to a blank screen with only curser showing.

Hi,

Get a hold of a Win 10 recovery USB drive (able to be created from any working Win 10 PC/laptop, needs 8GB USB flashdrive - go to Control Panel > Recovery to create, takes about an hour)

Once you have it, start the laptop and get into BIOS to change the boot order to USB 1st choice, then HDD 2nd choice, save changes.

Insert the USB drive into the USB port and restart the laptop, when it boots to the Windows Recovery Environment menu, Select Troubleshoot > Advanced > Repair and follow the prompts.

Do not select the Reset option as this will reinstall Windows and erase all your files and data.
