Patricia Holloway, If your brake light fuse is blowing every time you press the brake pedal there is a dead short in the brake light circuit between the switch and the bulbs. The wire harness must be traced to find the short. Try a visual inspection, you will be looking for any damaged, bare, pinched, burnt(melted insulation) on wires, plugs, sockets and also check/test bulbs. Pay special attention to any where wire could be rubbing on metal frame, taped up joints/connections, etc.. If there is a trailer light harness with converter, especially if a add on one you may want to disconnect it as they can be problematic and cause this issue. If not comfortable working on your vehicle take into a good shop and have them diagnose and estimate repair, most good shops have hand held short finders(link below) and can find the problem fairly quickly. Good luck.
I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.

Hi, Does it only happen with the brake lights or do you blow a fuse with the tail and turn lights as well?
Have you got trailer wiring connected at all?
