Hold power and home button for 5-15 seconds and see if that helps.

If apple logo goes off immediately on unplug charger then battery is either not plugged in properly or faulty and needs replacing.

Sometimes the iOS firmware needs to be reflashed as it may be corrupted.

Plug your device into your computer with a USB cable.

Turn off the device.

Hold the Power button for 3 seconds.

Hold the Home and Power buttons for 10 seconds.

Release the Power button but keep holding the Home button.
