iPhone 6 backlight fixed but dead again

I have an iPhone 6 was black out but recognized by ITunes. I bought it to repair shop and they said backlight problem. They fixed it and charged $50. They called me to pick up and everything was working fine for a day and it black out again. The phone is still ringing when someone calling but screen is black. I called them and they said no warranty because it is not blacklight problem. Is anyone know what cause it?

I agree with Richard, it seems to me that the repair shop should at least take a good look to understand why the phone has a similar failure. It may be unrelated but it should be properly diagnosed.

That said, what struck me in your question was that you paid 50$ for this repair. That seems a little too inexpensive to me. While everyone is free to charge what they want, consumers are often attracted by low prices and don't consider quality workmanship and good warranties. Micro-soldering is not exactly rocket science but it is still an acquired skill and doing repairs on high density logic boards, like iPhones, requires a gentle touch more than anything else.

Seeing shops race to the gutter on micro-soldering fees is not a good thing IMO. It devalues the work performed and encourages shortcuts and "quick" work as opposed to good work.

hate the race to the bottom, its usually from repair shop who want to use you as a guinea pig.

seems like they should at least look at it again. is it a backlight issue? when you turn it on or wake it and shine a flashlight at it do you see the image? if not I would ask the repair shop what they did to fix it so we have an idea. Was it just the fl2024 backlight filter?

It's actually work for about a day and half. The first repair they told me backlight. They brought it on and now it's dead again. The problem before and after is before that no ringing, but now it's is but black screen
