Need a solution to taking out a messed up screw.

On the vibrator motor, the left screw seems to be messed up. My phillips screwdriver keeps losing grip when I am trying to turn to release the screw. It seems as though the manufacturers tightened the screw too much and now it can't be taken out. Any solution?

Options

Hardware stores sell screw extractors. You will need the smallest one and you will also need to drill a small hole on the screw head first. Good luck!!
