Where does this rubber ring go back to? iPhone 6

where does this rubber ring go back to?

i removed the logic board and this popped out and i couldn't figure out where it goes.

is it underneath the gold screw with the hole at the top of the head? (the only non-philips screw on the inside of the iphone? you need a flathead for it)

Thanks

What do you mean by "under"? In between the lens and Where the sapphire glass is?

I don't think it fits there

I don't think it does either. But if it's a rubber gasket, probably won't hurt. Don't add too much pressure. Honesty I'm at a little bit of a loss. I'll check a couple today, and see if I can come up with an answer

What else did you take out? Lightning dock?

by

no, only the logic board (and the other parts that allow me to remove the logic board, such as the rear camera). i took apart some of the display side but know it didn't come from there. thanks for your help

yes, it is rubber. It can stretch.

do you think it might go into the camera section?

by

It could be, try putting it between the camera and the housing. Is it a 6 or a 6s?

by

It's iPhone 6 and apparently it's liquid damage indicator has been voided (in contact with liquid)
