I took out my sim card last night to put it into another phone and apparently in the process the sim card reader/tray of the LG phone got damaged.
I did a search on ebay and the sim card reader for this phone costs around $2.99. So it is cheap. But does anyone know if I go to a repair shop how much should I expect to be charged for the reader and repair? I don't want to be overcharged.

i would charge you at least $50 for that repair. I would think even $60 would be in order. you're paying for the work i had to do in order to learn that repair plus the cost of my tools needed to do it.
