How do you remove the bottom cover to upgrade memory?

I have a Gateway NE52207u with 4GB RAM. The memory can supposedly be upgraded and I have replacement memory to upgrade it to 8GB. Unfortunately, when I took off the bottom panel which is supposed to give access to the hard drive and memory, you cannot remove the existing memory because the modules are still covered by the bottom cover.

How does one safely remove the bottom cover? Does anyone have step by step instructions? I was going to just remove screws until I could pry the bottom cover off but I didn't want to just brute force my way if someone has a step-by-step instructions.

Thank you for your help.

Thanks for sending the link but that was for a different model computer. It looked very different from my model. I searched for an NE522 take apart video but couldn't find it.

Ok no worries.

Page 22 of the manual shows it looks like a single screw holding the panel down. I suspect it you may need a plastic pry tool to GENTLY raise it up or you press down and try to slide it outward.
