Exchange keyboard key hinge

Hi,

I had the P key stuck a bit and I tried to pry underneath it to remove some dirt. However I accidentally removed it and the hinge at the bottom side (where the key is hooked in) broke. I tried to remove the hinge to take a close look, but it looks like it is covered by the plastic of the key cap. I did not go further, but does anyone know, if the cap is glued and how one can remove it gently to reach and change the hinge?

The key still works fine, it just pops out at the bottom.

Thanks,

Duc

You likely broke the key cap. I would take the system into an Apple Store and let them fix it. It should be still under warranty I wouldn't tell them what happened ;-}
