The A1502 uses the same keyboard from late 2013-2015.

Take out the board, heat and remove the battery (long painting knife and isopropyl recommended, don't puncture the battery), remove the backlight sheets and pull the keyboard out. Pull the rivets out using wire cutters and replace with screws over the new keyboard (search "a1369 keyboard screws" on eBay), then reassemble. Before doing all this, make sure to test the keyboard beforehand, by plugging it in.

Follow this video for the process (for the older A1425 model, but it is the same process, just different board and battery layout) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oq0nEyDh...

Its easier to just pull the keyboard up with force after removing all the removable screws. That way the rivets come out instead of cutting them. This will leave the holes for the new screws to go in.

After replacing the keyboard the power button doesn't work. All the other keys work but in order to power up the computer i have to unscrew the back and unplug the battery connector. What should i do?

Did you manage to replace the keyboard? My keyboard and trackpad no longer work and I think I need to replace the keyboard.

If your keyboard and trackpad don't work, try to replace the trackpad cable (it's called trackpad connector in a lot of tutorials). That is very easy to do, costs almost nothing and did do the trick for me.

I would also check to see if the battery has swelled up. This can apply pressure on to the cables causing them to fail. Run CoconutBattery to see what your cycle count is if its around 800 - 900 its time for a new battery.
