iPhone screen will not get bright enough to view

Son's I-phone was working fine (3weeks over 1yr warrenty) while in the vehicle... screen just goes black! Won't reset, you can tell Siri to turn brightness up & u can barely see a thing. Not sure if responds to finger touch- obviously because you can't see a thing. HELP!

Could be your display, could be a backlight issue. I guess the best thing, cost wise, to do. Take it to a local reputable repair shop. If they replace a new display, and it still doesn't work, you need to take/send it to a board level repair shop. I hear iPad Rehab does good work
