So I've been having a lot of GPS issues the best few weeks, and I finally did a factory reset, the gps seemed to start working, however when I restored my phone GPS stopped working again, no non-apple apps are currently installed, so what could be causing this?

corrupt data on the restore file could be causing the issue. Unfortunately, unlike most androids, iOS does not allow selective restore. you will in that case, likely have to choose between your data, and your GPS.

Yea I was afraid of that, I'll try to salvage what I can and guess start over, and hope it doesn't happen again, might take it to an ifixit shop and see if they have any other ideas, but most likely just a reset is needed
i would suggest, restoring, transferring pictures to computers, and uploading your contacts to the icloud, then erasing your device. this way you dont need to start barebones
