Replacing iPhone 6 screen having issues

So I got the replacement screen from iFixit, they tend to have a great reputation.

Im having backlight bleed issues -

and deformity when pressure is applied to the screen - here is a video of it -

The chasis itself is in excellent condition, not bent, not a scratch on it. If I insert the original screen, these issues do not exist, no matter how hard you press on the screen you wont get that bubble, and here its caused by light pressure (no more than you would do for poke/peek gestures on 6S/7).

Here is the inside in case that helps (parts are labeled Original and iFixit) -

Thanks for any help/ideas...

I wonder if they'll do it for a replacement for a phone that old. Also, they won't do anything, if it doesn't have an original screen on it
