Is there a Data transfer cable for the New Flash Storage SSD for Mac?

Do they make any kind of data transfer cable like any Sata cables that transfer data off a hard drive of a mid 2014 MacBook Pro and basically use it as an external hard drive? and also do they make it for the 2015 MacBook Air?
