Why does my screen not turn on

the phone will still vibrate when i turn it on but the screen doesnt even light up, the screen is not cracked or anything. why would it have done that? i was looking at the screen and it went black on me and hasnt lit up for me since. please anything helps, dont have the money to buy another phone. if you know what is wrong with it txt this number 501 270 7952. thanks
