I just bought this and the volume knob is missing the pieces like the

I need a picture of what it's supposed to look like! The volume mechanism on the inside!

Volume Control Knob Acting Strange

The volume encoder part number according to the service manual is ASX7004. The part is still listed in the link I posted in the answer. It also shows what it looks like.

This image shows the circuit details of the volume control. It shows that it is mounted on a separate board designated S250 and it appears to be the only component on that board. Click on the image to enlarge it for better viewing.
