SG Mega 6.3 i9200 data not work.

The phone works as phone and will work data if on wifi but just with phone internet it will not work.

Hi,

Check that the Mobile Network data setting option has been enabled.

Since you don't state your model number here is a link that shows where the setting is for a Samsung device.

This setting when enabled also allows you to send and receive MMS messages, (pictures and video text messages).

This setting is handy to remember. If you have a limited data allowance on your phone plan and you do not wish to have apps "downloading" in the background, eating away at your data allowance without your knowledge then uncheck the setting.

As you have found out this setting does not affect the WiFi data connection.

Thanks for trying to help but we tried that and also manually inputting all the correct info for the data network to work but nothing wprks. The company I bought thephone eill pay a local shop to fix but so far no one has been able to figure out the problem.

Hi, Have you tried swapping SIM cards with another from a phone which has a known internet working network compatible SIM card to see if your card works in the other phone and that the other SIM card works in your phone?
