Old screen displays colored lines, new screen is black
My original iPhone 6 screen does not work. It only displays a few vertical lines, sometimes white and sometimes multi colored. When plugged into the computer the phone is recognized by iTunes but can't be accessed because of passcode. I tried a new screen (with no home button or camera) but that screen displays nothing. No lines or anything. The edges of the underside light up when I hit the sleep button so I'm assuming the screen is working. Any ideas what's going with it and how to get my computer to recognize the phone. When I put the old screen back on the lines show back up. Thanks
Is this a good question?

I only have the one replacement screen. When I put the original (broken that only displays the few vertical lines) the lines show up again. But the new screen is blank. Would it have anything to do with the new screen not having the home button or camera switched over? I don't want to take apart my wife's working iPhone 6 to test the new screen, she would kill me if I broke her phone too. I took it to a mall repair kiosk and they tried a new screen but nothing showed up on theirs either. I'll send it in to a better repair shop I guess.

The Home Button & Camera have nothing to do with it.
