I don't understand what it means by cloud storage. I deleted lots of photos and apps that I don't use. didn't seem to make a difference. message still pops up.

Hi,
Are you on Verizon? Because if so, you might unknowingly be using their cloud storage instead of the physical storage on your phone and filling it up. Try going into your settings and selecting "storage" to see how full the physical phone is. Physical storage on your phone and cloud storage are two different things. Lots of companies offer cloud storage so if you aren't using Verizon you might accidentally be using something else.
